A hackathon that was organized by various government parties: Waterschap Brabantse Delta, GGD West-Brabant, Veiligheidsregio Midden- en Westbrabant, Omgevingsdienst Midden- en Westbrabant, municipality of Moerdijk and the Port of Moerdijk.

Want to get started with public data? Platforms like PDOK, Data Overheid, CBS, Rijksoverheid, and Rijkswaterstaat offer a lot of public data. Before we organize an open data hackathon, we often first create a ‘wiki’ in which we make an overview of possible relevant datasets.

When we do this, we take on the following tasks, among others:

We jointly establish the challenge: We formulate a clear challenge to focus on and inspire participants.

Location and resources: We think along about a suitable and inspiring location to organize the hackathon and what is needed on site.

Facilitators and experts: We facilitate the day and think about suitable experts who can guide participants.

Assessment: We think about jury criteria and how we can maintain the energy after the hackathon and follow up on this.

In short, we can take care of all aspects for you. In addition to the above, we can also make an after-movie of the day or arrange catering, for example.
