In recent years, we have organized hundreds of hackathons. Below is a glimpse of the events we've hosted. Our experience spans every sector and target audience.
For TU/e Eindhoven, we organized the SIAM Hackathon, including sponsor acquisition (with AWS, Roche, AMD, Kuka, Siemens, and ASML). We managed the entire production process. Participants from around the world tackled complex mathematical challenges over two intensive days.
We organized the Anti-Discrimination Hackathon to address labor market discrimination. Although it was originally intended to be a physical event, we adapted it to an online format within 1.5 weeks due to COVID.
For ANWB, we organized the Dutch Mobility Hackathon, which also included participation from HTM, NS, RET, and Volkswagen PON. Participants worked on solutions to ensure that traffic in the Netherlands does not come to a standstill in the coming years.
For the Ministry, we organized the 'Your Strength in Healthcare' hackathon. With an increasing number of individuals leaving the elderly care sector, we posed the question: how can we encourage more people to continue working in this field?
For Human Capital Top Sectors, we organized the 'Women in Tech' hackathon in collaboration with FME and the Talent for Technology Platform at the Brainport Campus in Eindhoven.
For KVNR and NMT, we organized the 'Shipathon' in collaboration with Rijkswaterstaat. During this hackathon, over 80 participants worked for 24 hours to develop innovative solutions for maritime vessels.
For Hogeschool Utrecht, we organized the 'HUH?! Hackathon,' where students and faculty collaborated to explore the future of education.
During World Hackathon Day, over 500 young people from six different countries collaborated in this 24-hour event. Brilliant minds aged 10 to 25 united their talents to develop innovative solutions focused on making the world a better place.
During the Reyeroord Hackathon, students from Hogeschool Rotterdam focused on the future of the city. As significant changes took place underground in the Reyeroord neighborhood, new opportunities emerged above ground to completely revamp the approach.
With the Challenge for Future-Proof Housing Construction, the province of South Holland challenged the construction sector, knowledge institutions, and governments to bring the home of the future closer: a home that is energy-neutral, circular, climate-adaptive, and nature-inclusive. A total of 5 teams were awarded a grant of €75,000.
For the Province of Gelderland and the municipality of Nijmegen, we organized the 'Mobihack' where a solution was found for the traffic issue in the busy Heijendaal district within 24 hours.
What is your best idea to get people to cycle more often and safely? This was the challenge we presented to children in grades 7 and 8. In collaboration with our client 2inbeweging, we developed a lesson program and hackathon for primary school children for the Province of Utrecht.
We organized a hackathon for the educational institution Curio. Policymakers, teachers, students, businesses, and experts came together to brainstorm solutions for the teacher shortage at Curio. It was expected that by 2030, 50% of students would no longer have a teacher: what actions can be taken to continue delivering high-quality education despite this challenge?
